Remarkable for its level. Red-purple crimson. Generous red and blue fruits on the palate with a great mouthfeel and a long round finish. I would have thought village Volnay. Excellent and drinking beautifully. Shows the power of the 2005 vintage and why it's best to spend dollars on great rather than lesser vintages and to buy up and down the food chain in great vintages.

Wine Education Service - Domaine Lucien Jacob (South Hampstead High School): New mown hay, a bit earthy, then fruit, a very pleasant bouquet.
Very fruity, delicious, good belance, refreshing, needs food, drinking well and will develop.
