Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Opaque, almost black. Lots of body as evidenced by thick, clingy legs. Nose has sense of blueberry pie with underlying garrigue, maybe some cassis (fruit and liqueur) as well. Mouthfeel is lighter than expected with higher acid as well. Pepper, dark fruits. Fine tannins, but very present. Tight on opening but definitely opens with air. Very balanced overall, but an air of wildness. Day two and far more integrated. Delicious.
