This is a SB one should absolutely decant for at least an hour or two if opening now….PnP is a total waste (trust me) if you have any. It was honestly hard to believe how much this wine improved and opened up over the course of several hours…tropical citrus notes of pineapple, yuzu, and lime, chalky minerality, and gentle vanilla pod and nutmeg overtones. I was highly skeptical but call me a converted believer at this point. Can’t wait to see how the rest of them age over time.

It’s a very good wine. So if you’re looking to expand your Sauvignon selection, there’s no shame in adding this to the stable. Deep, rich and complex nose on tropical fruits, spices and kumquat / ripe orange. Beautiful texture on the palate with plenty of extract, nice underlying acidity and a very long finish. The best glass was the last glass. Can’t wait to see what this will be like in 7 to 10 years but already wonderful to drink now.

Helt ok men hade högre förväntningar.. 2 flaskor kvar, låt dem ligga!

En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Seven (Bordeaux): A little gun flint, fresh grass, slightly herbal notes, stony minerality. Medium plus intensity acidity is a little sharp, mineral texture proves tight with a little salinity. Hmm.
