Celebrated our 24th anniversary at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion restaurant in Pasadena with Ted & Esther. The better half was in no mood for white wine so we all selected entrees that were better suited for the red nectar we brought, and nectar this was. Well integrated, beautiful wine that has some time left. This is the kind of juice that warrants the best company, great food (the Pork Osso Buco was delicious) and meaningful conversation. Our evening would have been stellar with any good drinker, but when you get to punctuate the moment with a wine experience such as this one, it enhances the pleasure exponentially. Wonderful evening-feeling blessed.

Perhaps could use a little more time in the bottle; but this wine is delicious. Still maintains a deep red color with a wonderful nose leading to a well balanced wine with good vanilla flavors balancing the bright fruit

See previous notes. What I will add is a few years of life to the drinking window-this can go a decade easy. Great wine to celebrate on Labor Day. Wish it was cheaper ($165).

Inky in the glass. Beautiful nose of dark fruit, oak, cherry. The palate is rich and complex. Cherry, vanilla, blackberry, raspberry. The tannins are present, but relaxed enough to create a beautiful drinking experience. Long finish that entices another sip.

This is really a fantastic Cab and it's drinking GREAT right now. Had at Tiro a Segno in NYC. Decanted for about 45 minutes. Was up against a 2005 Staglin, a 1991 Stag's Leap Cask 23 and a 1985 Chateau Lynch Bages. This was overwhelmingly viewed as the WOTN. Big bold fruit... just an outright crowd pleaser. The Cask 23 was a distant second.
