  Tasted at winery. Pinot Blanc, Grosses Gewächs (GG), i.e. grand cru. Number of "*" implies quality, like Michelin Guide with 3 stars ("***") the highest. Holger explained that he never blended the vineyard for GG, always single vineyard. As a result, each year the 3 stars bottle may come from different vineyard, whichever was the best quality. 500 litre cask. No sulfur. Completely on yeast.
  
  Pale yellow with green tint. Pear, citrus, orange blossom, cream soda. Elegant, structured, and balanced. Long finish.
  
  Holger recommended his GG wines are best to drink after 3-4 years.
