Bright acids. Good body with appealling softness, smoke and earth. Very nice. Really opened up later and second day with deep cherry tart fruit, rounder body and a caressing finish. Upgrade from nice to quite delicious.
PS - This is Gamay, not Pinot Noir.

A very thin pinot, and my first 2005. Palate dominated by cherry, sage, and plum. Light on the midpalate.
