-- popped and poured -- -- tasted non-blind over 2 days -- -- TN reflects Day 2 --
NOSE: spices and pure red fruits (mostly strawberry); rather simple, but still nice; some oak, too.
BODY: clear; orange-ruby color of light depth; medium-light bodied; tartaric crystals present.
TASTE: acidic; straightforward and unexciting flavor of blueberries and cherries; some chalky minerality; 30-35 sec. finish; about what I expected from a $17 Pinot. Not bad, but my search continues for a truly impressive sub-$20 Pinot.
B: 50, 5, 11, 14, 6 = 86

Rosso: Nice earthy notes, ground coffe, a bit thin, but fair a’s, one dimensional, but nice for price.
