  Smoky gooseberries, lemon confit and, with some air, a little apricot. Outstanding sweet fruit / tart fruit contrast. Palate is gorgeous, so well balanced and so long. Key Lime Pie hints after some time in the glass. Bought at the domaine last May and a slam dunk repurchase. For value wine of the year something is going to have to be pretty special to knock this off the top step of the podium. Outstanding.
