  • Wow...
    13% d'alcool, 100% Sauvignon blanc

  • Out of a 375ml, pretty perfumy nose of exotic fruits, herbs and pickles.
The palate had notes of thyme, pineapple and a grassy note, smooth but lacking a tiny bit on the mid palate.
Perfect everyday white for the warm summer nights. would buy again

  • A nice little Pouilly-Fume. Perhaps straddling the new world and the Loire valley, it had a ripe nose, with gooseberry scents, ripe lemons, fleshy white fruit accents and long, slakey mineral lines nestled amonsgt some green grass and perfumy flower top-notes. Some cat's pee was milling around there. Expressive enough, but I could not really decide whether I really liked the bouquet or not. The palate certainly had a nice touch of quality on it though. It attacked with lots of spicy notes, followed with some serious mineral, and then fanned out into a rather substantial mid-palate, with ripe lemons and melons kept sprightly by brightly dancing acidity across the tongue. I liked the way the acidity kept the wine focused and balanced all the way into a slightly mouth-puckering finish that showed more nice long minerally lines - altough there was quite a bit of ripe weight and forwardness, the wine always mantained a sense of stylishness to it. Popper and poured, it was good to drink now.
