  greenish-yellow straw colour. some initial reduction blows out to floral and herbal whiffs amid orchard fruit notes. rather reticent in the mouth, it is dry, mineral and with a subtle and cool-feeling vein of acidity that runs from beginning to end. pomme fruit notes gain in prominence in the back end and carry thru the long, fresh, persistence.
  
  this needs three to five years and has some upside potential.
  
  13.5% AbV; from ~65y.o vines and a parcel shared with Jadot; it sees 20-25% new oak for ten months.
