  • A bit young but with some decent decant time really does exhibit a lot of promise. Quite opaque ruby yet swirling lighter in the glass than you'd think from appearances. Black cherries, bramble, vanilla, cocoa dust, magic marker on the nose. Carries over on the palate smooth as velvet, brilliant acidic middle pop, then a nice long lush and spicy finish. Only going to get better. Lovely all around.

  • This is a really tasty wine with so much potential. I think i opened it too early. Very bright, cherries, pine, earth, a hint of espresso and mocha with a touch of hay. Very enjoyable but I am saving my other bottles for a least a couple years. Heavy tannins on the finish that will hopefully moderate with time.
