  • Evening Land's 2022 Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot is a medium ruby wine that serves up an attractive olfactory and gustatory package of blood oranges, pomegranate, cocoa, cinnamon and black tea. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic, lightly oaked, softly tannic and with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 13.7%), it stays solid in the middle and finishes long. This producer's commitment to quality is evident year after year. Serially sampled over a three-hour period from a bottle that had been popped and poured, it was enjoyable from the get-go but showed best with an hour of air. Drink now-2030.
