N: sour cherries, rose hips, milk chocolate, a bit of the abv of 14,5. P: very much in coherence with the nose and just the right amount of tannins to make it structural. Weak point is the finish but why complain? It’s delish, drink now or hold for a deeper experience.

Great Rosso from Ciacci, again. Not too hot hot and at a reasonable abv, this is showing the Ciacci typical notes of garrigue, herbs and some superb red fruit, cherry in particular. A wonderfully balanced Rosso, very typical for Ciacci and joy to drink from now on.

2023 Montalcino trip, first vineyard visited and one of my favourites. Dark purple color, soft nose. Subtle first Brunello taste fresh red fruits and and into a dry quick and very slight earthy finish. Short linger. High quality Rosso and great price.

Italy Honeymoon; 5/17/2023-5/29/2023 (Italy): Very nice rosso. Ruby red, bright cherry. My wife enjoyed this a lot, while I preferred the Ateo tasted next to it. Glad I ordered a few bottles to ship home.

Med (+) tart black & red cherry, raspberry, w/ just a hint of spice from aging in large Slavonian oak casks. Dry, w/ med+ acidity, med to med+ tannins and high alcohol (14.5%). Full-bodied, w/ med+ flavor intensity and length. A really nice red wine and an outstanding value. Still quite youthful, it should show well and gain in complexity w/ additional aging.
