This is a throwback to old school Beaujolais Villages which I find very appealing. Light to medium texture but there are darker fruits on the back end with a nice refreshing acidity. I would compare this favorably to some of Kermit Lynch’s and more recently Selection Massale’s imports. Heavenly with grilled sausages.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like gooseberry and cranberry. It tastes like cranberry, gooseberry and red currant. The body is light/medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

'Twas alright. Classic Gamay, improved over time with air, but nothing too noteworthy in my humble opinion.
