  • First encounter w this passable Wittmann cuvée (v22, 12.5% ABV) - a fairish, not particularly compelling riesling f a tellingly warm vintage, not a sparkling performance f Wittmann here. Pale straw w slightly greenish reflections in appearance. Approachable & already developed nose w quite deep scents of ripe & warm peach & apricot, lime & lime zest, slightly honeyed w tropical scents emerging throughout bottle. Somewhat flat mouthfeel, rounded palate w flavours as per above, decent acidity, juicy & ripe close.
