This is almost more beer than Champagne. Yeasty, yes. A bit of citrus…uh huh. I think if you put it head to head with a Wit Bier, might not be able to distinguish it.

A Tour of Champagne: Is It All About the Village or the Brand? (Wine and Food Foundation Tasting Room Austin TX): Serviceable bubbles under $15. It is a nice apertif wine and more correct than others in its price range. I've bought this before and would consider it again.

Somewhat simpler and softer than Champagne but nice yeast and citrus profile that works well. Good choice for parties and groups.

Dry, hints of pear and honeydew. Pairs well with food. Enjoyed it with fried chicken.
