Deep red colour (deeper than a 2009 Rockford cab had side by side with this). Ripe and fruit driven still on the nose, just a touch soupy/porty. Spicy red berries, but broadly balanced on the palate. Holding up surprisingly well for something that I suspect was not really intended to hold for 15+ years.

Seems to disappear about the 3/4 mark in the mouth before the tannins drying the palate kick in. Awsome initial mouthfeel finishing with a somewhat coarse after feel.

Bustawinos V5 (Gaby Jr's Apartment): Caramel nose, smells like a Rollo candy. Very tannic wine, but balances with the fruit. Huge finish that completely coats the palate and teeth. Hints of prunes and molasses on the nose. Decanted 2+ hours. $18 on release. Gaby Sr's wine.

A slightly green nose and palate. A good schwag of dark fruit. Oak still very prominent in this wine, held together really well for 48 hours under vacu-vin, there was a large amount of heat on this puppy, I'm not sure how long the fruit will last. It's still an interesting drop, and was smoother at the 48 hour mark, but had lost a fair whack of the fruit.
