Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Tasted at El Ancla: Was nice as a refreshing white but showed a bit too much oak for my taste. The high alcohol content (14.5%) was not so much discernible.
    Of course this was a far cry from the traditional Rioja Whites I love so much.
    Apart from Lopez de Heredia and and Murrieta Castillo Ygay nobody seems to produce them anymore and the prices of Castillo Ygay have of course risen astronomically and out of the reach of the normal consumer like me...
