A classic among the Chateauneuf faithful. I've been waiting for an opportunity to enjoy this and was not disappointed! A beautifully integrated blend of fruit and earth flavors, with acidity and alcohol in balance. Vibrant and softly punchy despite its age; it feels like it has reached its intended destination and it is happy to linger :)

Fine Wines SG - Grenache BYO (Fine Wines SG): Medium ruby and significant rim variation. Aromas of blackberry, leaf and smokes. High alcohol, and intense ripe fruits, with the blackberry flavours still rather fresh and juicy. Quite surprising how the wine remains so fresh despite its age

Average at best. This is a cacophony of flavor chocolate dried prune dirt and alcohol with no elegance. Big heavy wine and would recommend only with food. One and done for me.

In a nice spot at age 20. Upon pouting there was a lot brown hues, so I was surprised by how much black fruits were on the nose. A bit of meat and game also. Nicely balanced as the alcohol wasn't overbearing like some of the more recent CNDPs. Drank with SW

Fully mature with very classic proportions. Dark fruit dominating, good ripeness, well balanced. Drink up. 93+
