  • The smell is awesome, lots of red fruit like strawberries and raspberries. But also marzipan, its sweet and heavy.

According to Roy Hersh i have to decant it between 4-6 hours. But i wanted to taste the first glass without decanting at all so i poured myself 1 glass to taste the difference later.
Not much tannines left in this bottle. It tickles the palate and stings a little, does not look very promising at this point. Not a long aftertaste aswell. At this point i cant taste anything specific like my other TN's.

Second glass after 5 hours of decanting.
Wow, this has definately improved alot ! Its very sweet and soft, silky and velvet. I can very much taste the sugar almost like its liquid caramel. You have to love this or hate this. I love it. But....i cant be any more specific though. In my other tastings i always could taste something specific like fruit, oak or chocolate but now its the caramellish taste that does it.
All with all i rate this 89 points. Good but not excellent.
