  The 2001 Kalin Cellars Chardonnay Cuvée W remains very youthful at age 23, bursting with aromas of golden orchard fruit, green pineapple and buttered toast mingled with hints of guava and mandarin oil. Medium to full-bodied, broad and enveloping, with a satiny attack that segues into a deep, almost unctuous core of fruit, it's layered and flavorful, with lively acids and a long, saline finish.
