Bindi Tasting at WineBanc. Drank in Grassl Cru. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, purple colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of spicy black pepper, thick blackberries, black cherries, tarry earth, black ink, black olive. Developing. On the palate, dry, good high acidity, medium+ alcohol, grippy high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of spicy cracked black pepper, earth tar, wood char, black ink, blackberries, black cherries, dark leather. Long spicy finish with grippiness. Very good quality. Still early days. Intense Syrah but has leanings towards Northern Rhone.
