  This is good. Honestly I was in doubt receiving my order from the winery. The packaging of the 6 bottles (5 different wines) looked shabby, but the bottles themselves were alright and undamaged. Also the vintages did not correspond to what I ordered and they should have checked with me before sending. In the end I do not mind, as in this case the vintages were of minor importance, but still...
  This wine is on the tart side with a decent dark fruit concentration with a red rim and a floral hint. Nice juiciness too.Also noticeable is a touch of dry herbs and hay. Obvious tannins yield a dry impression. A good decent wine, at least if you don't dislike acidity too much.
  My second aglianico in a couple of days and clearly this is akin to the other one yet obviously the lesser in quality.
