Lovely dessert wine. Notes of ripe apricot, candied peach, yellow raisins and orange rind. It’s great acidity was perfectly matched with the plush sweetness.

Nose: Some citrus and apricot and maybe a little honeysuckle. Taste: Orange, tangerine...but not overly sweet. Almost like a little rind is in there giving it a little sourness as well. I did not care for this but my friend thought it was pretty good. I would have gone 80, she would have gone 87-88.

Drank over the course of a few nights - dipping biscotti in it then drinking the rest. Nice orange flavor. Pretty easy drinking, not too hot and alcoholic.

A wow of a desert wine as aromas of apricot, rhubarb and peach nectar waft up through your senses. The palate is lush yet fresh, with ripe peach and mango followed by a sour apple wash of acidity as it goes down into a mellow, fresh fruit finish. I thoroughly enjoyed this bottle.

(Maculan Torcolato (375 ml)) Made from 100% Vespaiola and aged in French oak, this wine is juicy and thick, with loads of orange-clover honey, apricot jam, and white flowers. There's plenty of depth and focus for such a reasonable price. The Veneto: A Quality Renaissance

Apricot on nose and palate, richer than I recall from earlier tasting. Seemed to have a bit of 'oiliness' to it, but not in a bad way. Engaging wine.
