No obvious signs of seepage but a fill level at 5-6 cm; partially wax dipped cork. The cork crumbled; not surprising at 75 years. The hue was very evolved; going towards caramel. The aromas were interesting but the soy element had clearly set in. This is not surprising given the nature of the 47 vintage. It must have been like 03 without access to any kind of cooling or other modern commodities. The aromas showed some interest but were pretty far on the downward slope. THe texture, silky smooth, was surely the best element of this wine. Too late in this case...
