  • The winemaker told us that 2018 was the best vintage for Ganymede, but we wanted to taste a range of wines and so bought three vintages of the Ganymede. Now we've tasted them all and have come to the conclusion that the winemaker was correct. The 2019 is still a little young, with some prickly tannins that dominate the aftertaste, lots of ripe fruit, and a suggestion of cherry brandy. But again, we drank it all happily anyway.
