  • Found one bottle forgotten in the cellar:
Tart red cherry, lingonberry and raspberry fruit nose with some more savoury nuances.
Lightbodied with somewhat sour fruit dominating. Bitter herbs as well as some charcoaly and earthy flavours. Rather brief.
Even quite awkward - so, there's absolutely no reason to keep these laying around for this long.

  • With reindeer liverand caramelized onions and potato mash with red wine reduction. Went very well with it .
Light garnet color. medium intensity smell with fading fruit and mineral, sparkling notes. Banana and sour cassis also present.
Taste: Very high acidity, tannins light and in the background, the fruit is invisible. Fading wine. Is this made in foudres? because small old oak/oxidation shines through. Lovely wine but sadly past it's best.

  • light garnet, pretty fruit forward scent of red berries with some bananas from the winemaking-method. The taste is very acidic, sour not too overripe red fruit. This wine collects the promises that this type of wine gives. Light, Clever, Fruit forward, Acidic to match food, Fun, Easy but with Personality, Serious, Many layers to grasp. I love it. Too bad You cannot store this forever.

Rockss and Fruit

  • By Lyle Fass

(Marcel Lapierre Vin de Pays de Gaules) A Lapierre wine I have never heard of and apparently the 2007 will make it stateside. Lapierre light as I like to call it. Fun, with brown spice and very elegant and most importantly and very gulpable. Great label too. If this is priced right this could be drunk alot in my house.
