  Nose on hazelnuts and curry.
  
  Astonishingly fresh on the palate and quite supple where the 1990 vintage is often marked by a somewhat clumsy richness. Very nice acidity supported by an evanescent effervescence. Unfortunately, the champagne remains simple in its expression and structure, with nuts such as walnuts and a modest finish given the pedigree. The wine is clearly in a downward phase.
  
  Very good for freshness though.

  dark golden, in the nose whisky, wood, honey, brioche, fig, date, in the palate nuts, brioche, honey, apricot skin, hazelnut, malt, fine small bubbles, fresh young acidity, very long finish, not the complexity of the CdC 1976, not the elegance Grande Annee 1989, anyway great champagne, aging potential still 10 years

  Gold color, great mousse, slightly acid, bit like granny smith apples, yeasty, great long finish?
  Excellent for a 23 year old wine.
  This is what old champagne is all about.

  First experience with an old vintage champagne. Superbe nose, beautifull gold color, tastes like Granny Smith apples.
