Shimmering dark red color. No real sign of age. Smokey aroma. This is harmonious and integrated. Round entry. This offers fine flavors of cherry, smoke and pomegranate. Very nice as a savor or with food. 89

I get some sour cherry and red fruit aromas. On the palate I get a smokiness and some sour cherry flavor. I also get a cran-pomegranate flavor. It is pretty good as a less expensive Ribera del Duero Tempranillo.

To be fair, I stored this bottle in my living room with no air conditioning for several months. Smells grapey and there's still some fruit on the palate, but it has just the tiniest hint of vinegar. It tastes like wine that sat open overnight and couldn't handle it, but it's also rather thin and a bit too woody, which I suspect it was even before it was stored badly. I poured it out.

Deep red color. Very nice blackberry, cassis, black cherry nose and flavor. Good length. Solid wine for $10.
