Some nice red fruit...cranberry, cherry, with licorice and spice. Well balanced acidity with grippy tannins, soft muted nose with some floral and spice notes. Better after 1 hour decant. A good wine but not really a whole lot of excitement here, honestly.

Red Burgundies - Louis vs. Louis: A gorgeous offering, rich and elegant, perfectly balanced, notes of spicy cherries and earth, good grip. Drinking well now, but this one will get much better with time!

Inaugural Columbus Ohio WineBerserkers Offline (Nick C's House): For the sake of the wine I'm hoping my palate was getting tired or there was something off with the bottle, as this was my least favorite wine of the night. Herbey with a hint of tannins, but just not much going on. Score: low 80s (?) I don't see the 92 Meadows at all.

Dark red in color. The nose is very expressive with considerable fruit. In the mouth an explosion of fruit that finishes with balance. Despite its youth this is very open for business. With time elegance will follow.

Impromptu Columbus, Ohio WineBerserkers Offline (German Village, Columbus, Ohio): Nice weight on the palate. Tannins gripping. Young wine. Tart cranberry and cherry. Earth, barnyard. Needs time, but very nice bottle.
