  Reddish garnet and not as faded as I expected
  
  Nose: stewed strawberry/guava, hints of vanilla, oak, and mint. Old leather and a bit of sweetness. All together a really great nose.
  
  Light yet milky mouthfeel, surprisingly dry still and a little bit of a brandy finish. There is a definite savory quality to this that comes with a lot of sediment. Certainly past its prime, it still offers quite a bit though from a flavor perspective, albeit a little bit “empty.”
  
  The dryness continues to surprise me and the finish has a bit of a mocha influence to it. Almost like a coffee brandy finish.
  
  Once again a wonderful experience
