Impeccably balanced with the exception of a little heat. Harmony of acid, fruit, earth, tannin and oak otherwise. Woodsy-earth aromas with oak and plummy fruit as well that aren't at all shy. Full bodied, round. Finish of dark chocolate and earth. More to the fruity side, yet nicely structured. Drinking well now.

Slightly earthy nose. Nice dark cherry flavors. Excellent balance. Very nice wine that paired nicely with grilled tuna steaks.

Family Winemakers San Francisco (Fort Mason San Francisco): Tasted at the Family Winemakers in SF. Quick notes: nice balance, acidity and weight with good fruit and a dry finish. Good to Very Good.
