  • Old school Bordeaux, earthier, least and nice red berry fruit. Classic Sunday lunch claret.

  • Bought six bottles recently, mainly because they were down by 40 per cent in it was almost ten years old and must have matured. Opened it while home alone with Fargo on the screen. First it seemed older, with earthier notes. After 1,5 hours there was not only more fruit, I was also under the impression that the tannins were back. Still, some might find it a little bitter. No wows, but certainly a nice enough drink on a quiet evening. Will not open another one for at least 12 months, though. Maybe with an entrecôte and roast potatoes next time.
