Short decant; might have benefited from longer. Appealing nose of blackcurrent, hedgerow fruits and vanilla; on the palate dominant notes of graphite and gravel.

Aerated for 2+ hours. Color bright red, with light rim. Nose with cherry notes, pencil wood. Taste: Light, almost sweet attack with cherry, red berries, prunes and firm tannins. Oak notes. Taste continues in a firm and pleasent aftertaste of medium lenght. A rather light wine with firm aftertaste. This wine is nice now after 2 hours of aeration, but will be at its top for a few years hereafter. Cru Bourgeois Supérieur.

Remains good value with appealing fruit/cedar/vanilla but the gravel/graphite note turns just a bit dominant/green at the end.

Decanted for an hour. Consistent with previous (red & black fruits, gravel/pencil); better & with greater balance after a little more air.

This is fantastic value, lovely full nose of cherry and cedar/pencil with an equally full palate of Black Forest gateaux and hints of vanilla.
