Strong raspberry, hints of vanilla and cedar. Rich, ruby color. Fairly long on the palate with a moderate complexity. A nice bottle of wine - will buy again.

The community is High & Low on this wine. The color is dark ruby and opaque. The nose is the best part, Black Raspberry Jam whit a hint of cherry. My palate struggles with the sweet jammy unspecific dark fruit. I know it's reported to be earthy, but I can not find any dirt in the jam. The feel and balance is good until the bitter astringent finish over rides this wine experience. I would agree with a previous comment, it "tastes a little cheap". Was drank at 0 hrs, 2 hrs and 24 hrs.... little change.

88% Zinfandel, 12% Petite Sirah. Dark in color. Black fruit and a touch of anise of the nose. On the palate the black fruit continues along with a touch a chocolate. Very nice!

Rosenblum doesn't disappoint. This over-delivers for a $20 zin, showing hints of tobacco and pepper on both the nose and palate, finishing with pure dark fruit and a nice mouthfeel.

Sam B's: Six Varietals (Bowling Green, OH): High-toned red cherry nose. Rich, but with a good knife of acidity. Medium tannins, acidity and body. Huge chocolate bomb. Rosenblum is always a safe bet. $20ish
