  • Amazing, bright red fruit and good acidity. Smooth and structured. My first Cru Beaujolais and I loved it.

  • Beaujolais is good. This one definitely is. Juicy strawberries and grapes, maybe a little blueberry. Spicy nose. Definitely some cinnamon, maybe coriander. Good value for $17. A little tannic and I think maybe a year or two would be beneficial.

  • While surely not as deep as the Vieilles Vignes, this nevertheless has plenty of sap and energy, with bright cherry fruit and deeper smoke tones on the nose, lovely acidity on the palate, and pure mineral and fruit energy on the finish, with just enough tannin to provide structure. A good pairing with Italian sausage and spicy vegetable soup.

  • nose: very pretty aromatics with earthen tones, dark cherries, spice, and hints of plums thrown in. A lot more pungent then the other beaujolais that were being tasted out

taste: suprisingly good grip with flavors of plum, earth, spice, and dark cherries. Nice light feel with soft fluidity

overall: a really tasty wine. Very pretty aromatics and good feel with firm tannins. I'd let this age 2-3 years to let it fully come together, but this was probably the first beaujolais that I have ever had that I have actually enjoyed tasting. Nice soft earth toned attack with a pretty dark cherry finish

  • This is really awkward on Day 1. No cohesion, monolithic structure, and flat. Day 2 reveals a completely different wine. It’s juicy and vibrant with both plum and sour cherry, filled with minerals and dusty tannins, and pleasantly persistant in the finish. Hold on to this one for a while
