We drank the wine to fried cod served with rice and a sauce of onion, white wine, tomato and vanilla. The combination was good but not excellent. The wine had rather much acid in its aftertaste which harmoniced nicely with the wine in the sauce. When drinking the wine after the meal was finished, the wine grow and was excellent. It was fresh on the nose with hints of pineapple, which was more obvious on the taste where also a nice tone of oak was noticed. Nice Chardonnay!

Discovering Wine: The Wild Ferment is a yellow wine with a light to medium body. The nose is almost startlingly aromatic with scents of clove, star fruit and yeast. Good acidity in the mouth, with tastes of citrus, granny smith apple and hints of apricot. The finish has decent length with green apple, cloves and a little apricot still lurking in the back. The nose makes this Chardonnay distinctive, you will likely either like it or dislike it.

Wine Company and Thomas Liquors present Errazuriz & Decero (Wine Company): Really nice offering. Rich with lemon, orange peel, mineral and floral. A touch of oak and the wine was fermented for 4 months in oak. Solid effort and the price is right. This showed a lot better than the last time I sampled it.

If you like Chardonnay, you should really like this wine. Very good example/expression of the grape.

Errazuriz and Finca Decero Private Tasting (Wine Company): Nose: Some oak char and fig elements. Palate: Fig showing with good acidity and a crisp finish. Balanced and a good porch pounder Chard.
