Consumed over two nights. Very similar aromas and tastes both nights, with no degradation after being open for 24 hours. Nose was lively with peach, fig and kiwi aromas. Crisp acidity for a Viognier. It didn't pair with the olive oil poached sable fish quite as nicely as I would have liked, but c'est la vie. More fig on the palate along with tropical fruits. Not much finish to speak of. Would purchase again.

This is a great qpr. Pale gold color. On the nose there is candied apricot, pineapple, floral and a little hay. Mouthfilling flavors of white peaches, pineapple, floral, a little hay, and white pepper. The finish lasts above average in length and some acidity. Larger end of medium bodied, but not overdone and it doesn't appear to be oaked. Was our favorite white from our trip to Walla Walla and it is really showing well right now.

Swordfern Wine Tasting #5: Viognier (Paul and Kelli's: Seattle, WA): This was the wine of the night (and also the cheapest of our four Viogniers). Beautiful nose of sweet, canned peaches. Those peaches carried through on the palate, accompanied by the perfect amount of acidity that provided wonderful lift to the fruit. Just a hint of spicy gingersnap on the finish to conclude this remarkable Viognier.
