Time has served this wine well, and I'd say it's as good as it's ever going to get; quite restrained and elegant for a Paso red; medium-weight, lingering finish

Merlot? Syrah? Cinsault? Carianne? Who knows; defy anyone to peg this drinking it blind. But IAE, soft, accessible mid-weight red that has some body and some depth; better than most Paso reds, and like all Paso reds not worth the tarif
