Light red with aromas of raspberry and spiced oak. Light weight with god acidity and raspberry fruit. Good length and pleasant finish with a bit of bitter oakyness.

Pinot Challenge (NYC): Certainly has a deeper nose than the ABC tasted alongside it, though not quite as full. The nose evokes kola nut and salty river stones, heavily mineral-driven with a bit of cherry peeping through. Saturates the mouth with a weighty feel. Subdued fruits taking the backstage for tight oak tannins, a hint of orange and some smoke. Super-smooth and well balanced with acidity. This is a tough wine to guage, but I think it's built for another half decade. I'd let it go a little longer before popping another.

Very good, still quite young and surprisingly Burgundian pinot enjoyed earlier tonight with Kim and another couple at Jasmine at the Bellagio in Vegas. Excellent pairing with slightly spicy Chinese food. Popped and poured, medium bodied, well balanced, a reasonable QPR at the price point this wine is generally available at and I definitely do recommend this wine. Nose bright with blueberry, cherry and plum. Primary flavors included a hint of soy, darker cherry then on the nose, white pepper and mint.

Nose is a little soy-like over the fruit with some floral notes floating around (Nick says "heathery.") Highly complex for the price point. Burgundian in style due to the frenchman running the show.
