Light red with aromas of raspberry and spiced oak. Light weight with god acidity and raspberry fruit. Good length and pleasant finish with a bit of bitter oakyness.

Pinot Challenge (NYC): Certainly has a deeper nose than the ABC tasted alongside it, though not quite as full. The nose evokes kola nut and salty river stones, heavily mineral-driven with a bit of cherry peeping through. Saturates the mouth with a weighty feel. Subdued fruits taking the backstage for tight oak tannins, a hint of orange and some smoke. Super-smooth and well balanced with acidity. This is a tough wine to guage, but I think it's built for another half decade. I'd let it go a little longer before popping another.

Very good, still quite young and surprisingly Burgundian pinot enjoyed earlier tonight with Kim and another couple at Jasmine at the Bellagio in Vegas. Excellent pairing with slightly spicy Chinese food. Popped and poured, medium bodied, well balanced, a reasonable QPR at the price point this wine is generally available at and I definitely do recommend this wine. Nose bright with blueberry, cherry and plum. Primary flavors included a hint of soy, darker cherry then on the nose, white pepper and mint.

Nose is a little soy-like over the fruit with some floral notes floating around (Nick says "heathery.") Highly complex for the price point. Burgundian in style due to the frenchman running the show.

Dark ruby color; darker character fruit - black cherry; medium + acid, med - tannin, needs a good decant; more intense fruit than other Oregon Pinot; Burgundian in style; very tasty at $28. From Eola-Amity, where you find more structured, tannic pinots than other areas of Oregon

Torii Mor is founded by a doctor and his eccentric wife. They made thier claim to having top winemaker's involved in the production. The current famous frenchman has brought a little bit of elegance and restraint to the Pinots and also massively improved the whites.
Very nice spicey ripe fruit. Fairly robust. BIll feels it doesn't reflect Oregon Pinot Noir. This is wine is too forward and juicy for what Bill normally thinks of Oregon for.

Subtle, and perhaps lacking in concentration on the palate, this medium bodied Pinot is still appealing for its bright cherry fruit and earth notes and abundant acidity.

Medium garnet in color. Boysenberry, dark cherries and graham craker aromas. Flavors of cocoa, prunes and barrel toast. Soft and silky mouthfeel. Ripe juicy flavors. Long notes of fruit on the finish.

The nose of this wine sings of Oregon Pinot Noir of fresh tilled earth, tart cherry, and cinnamon. In the mouth the body is light in style as the sour cherry sails across an utterly simple yet elegant finish. very good and potentially excellent

Oregon, Whites and Pinot Noir (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had cedar, spice, cherry, and a bit of raspberry. The palate was velvety, and had cherry, spice, raspberry, and a nice cedar finish.

Oregon: Dundee Hills Extravaganza (Hollywood Wine & Espresso, Portland OR): Nice cherry fruit, with some of that Oregon earthiness I enjoy. Somewhat bitter however. Needs more time to integrate I think.
