Impressive for a village wine. I have no experience with Mortet, got this bottle as a present. It‘s good: lots of mainly dark cherry fruit, powerful, long, playing far above Village level. For those who have still bottles in their cellars: it‘s drinking well, but another 5 years will not be a problem for this wonderful stuff.

Classic Gevrey with velvety fruit. Cherry with a hint of barnyard. Tastes younger than expected. Dry finish, a little short. Then opens up considerable after an hour! Longer
