From cask: Quite deep cherry/ruby. Lovely nose - fragrant with oak spice and floral touches. Very good plummy fruit beneath. Mouth entry is sweet - but a savoury meaty character is right behind it. Quite grippy tannins. More substance but less refinement that the Porets. 3+

(Michelot Alain Nuits St.Georges Champs-Perdrix) Medium-plus cherry-red. High-tones underpinned with medium-toast oak. Lots of dark fruit against plenty of structure. A wine with lots of interest and needing some cellar time - seems just a little shorter than some.

Dark red, dark fruit, still strong tannins and good body. Not an exceptional NSG but surely a good mature wine with still life ahead
