  This was a very tight beast tonight despite plenty of air. Towards the end of the night it was yielding a bit, showing some aromas on the larger side of things. Nearly dark fruit, and a thickness to the aromas. The palate and finish were very tightly wound, offering plenty of sweet tannins and some soft red fruits throughout. This is a baby. I wouldn't touch for 10 years, and it's probably not going to be even approaching peak until 20.

  Too young. Should not be opened until 2012 or so. For now, it needs some time in the glass, and then the tight nose opens up a bit and reveals cherries, herbs, flowers, and some earth. The palate is more generous at this stage, with good acidity and a thick texture. A touch of green tannins is there, which is not too nice, but there is just a hint of it. The finish is also tight and short, but I suspect this is because the wine is young. Drink from 2012 until 2017.
