Community Tasting Notes (4) Avg Score: 88.7 points

  • Opened not decanted. Purchased off the list at the Wood Tavern in Oakland. Dark fruit on the nose with some licorice, caramel and cinnamon. On the palate: sweet strawberry with dark spice and black cherry. Very light and accessible straight out of the bottle. However, as the bottle stayed opened the fruit started to recede and the finish became drier. Starts out Very Good and slopes down to Good.
