It was a very accessible syrah with nice bright fruit and a Santa Barbara herbaciousness.. My only gripe would be the dominating oak flavors.. but not so much I couldn't enjoy this wine. It a very pleasant premium wine, ready to drink now wine... All my co-workers were loving it at my work office Christmas party.

Loved the flavor profile on this one. Not a hot, peppery syrah typical of central coast, this one has a mild and fruity nose, not too dissimilar from a northern Rhone AOC, with a medium-body weight and a soft palate of blueberry and black fruit, very slight spice in the background, and a nicely integrated tannic structure. Would have scored much higher with a bit more acidic content to balance, but the long, long finish was a factor. What a central coast syrah should emulate on the palate. This is a Foley label, and one that keeps improving with each vintage.
