A deeper ruby red color than an "average burgundy." So much complexity of stewed apple, black earth, smooth rock, red fruit, mild darker spices...and ohhhh does it change! Don't look at it too long! This is a superb wine which should satisfy anyone.

Under, under, understated bourgougne...a typical burnt cherry color and subtle earth and dark fruit. I thought it was tight upon opening. After an hour-and-a-half, it did open up to reveal an exceptionally smooth and still understated wine. This is a truly outstanding wine. The underlying structure should have it age well.

My bottle was well cellared. Drinking well now and I recommend you drink within the next couple years. See my prior comments for tasting notes.
