Pale golden yellow but almost clear around the rim. Picked up a little rubberband on the nose with some type of petrol, oilyish smell. Smelled almost like a sherry to me. Initial attack of green apple, pear skin and green grapes. Moving progressively through the tart/acidic scale ending with fresh squeezed lemon and lemon peel. Acidity lingers on the back of the tongue. A fine wine but really only hits a single note for me.

Lemon-lime all the way. A bit of lemon peel. Little hints of tropical fruit. Tastes and smells exactly the way I imagine a sea breeze would taste, with a little bit of seashell thrown in. Olive oil and a little grassy on the nose. A beam of acidity runs through the palate. There is a certain richness to the wine that's hard to pin down. But it absolutely disappears on the finish.

Terrific Savagnin. Medium straw core with transparent rim. Interesting nose that started with endives and walnut to evolve to hazelnut and a light mix of caramel and vanilla. Med- body, high acidity, it needs quite some time to really opens up. Lemony acidity and a hint of oxidation. Not a lot of fruit (some apricot maybe) in this wine but interesting and complex flavors. Pair it with the right food otherwise you'll miss a lot about this wine.
