  • Vibrant garnet color, with barely any bricking. Complex nose of dried red fruit, leather and spice. Soft on the palate, with a great presence through the finish. This bottle is in perfect condition and showed beautifully.

  • From a cold cellar bought on release. SOM'd for a few hours prior to drinking. Mature amber ruby, with a flat out beautiful nose. Floral, dark strawberry, leather, perfume all with great depth and improving with air time. Round on the palate, with the tannins nearly resolved, while still maintaining great freshness and fruit. This was a wonderufl blend of secondary complexity with lovely pure deep fruit, and these two together were mro ethan the sum of their parts. Some lovely decaying forest wood kind of stuff. Rich and lovely midpalate presence and again lovely dark fruits. Just beautiful and at the back end of peak for me. There is something about capturing a wine at just the right time, and this happened this time. . 94pts.
