Beautiful nose of cherry and raspberry infused with cinnamon, a touch of clove and black pepper. Body is medium/full, definitely a bigger style than I often encounter from Oregon, but not like some of the Central Coast Syrah-lovers Pinots. Terrific mouthfeel: silky, elegant with just enough structure to keep it lively. Very enjoyable Pinot, probably at peak but seems capable of going a few years longer. www.advinetures.ca

Past it's prime, if you have some drink now. The fruit is definitely fading, but still present, dark fruit flavor, a bit flabby . This would have been much better a year or two ago.
Wet underbrush, mushrooms and mountain huckleberry in the nose. Graceful and well rounded offering texturally pleasing secondary flavors of sassafras, spiced cherry, rhubarb and hints of truffle. Earthy with ample muscle on the smooth-medium length finish. A well balanced wine made in a warm vintage without heat; which many of the '06 OR PNs suffer from. Drink now or over the short term.
